DENNIS MALONEY works as a landscape architect and is also the founder of the widely respected White Pine Press. Previous books of his own work include The Pine Hut Poems and Sitting in Circles, the latter published in Japan in a bilingual edition. His books of translation include Chilean poet Pablo Neruda's The Stones of Chile and The House in the Sand; Between the Floating Mist by Ryokan; and The Naked Woman by Juan Ramon Jimenez.
